Accompany your young piano beginners or make your older students co-operate with them and feel the joy of playing richer pieces. The older students will study because they feel the responsibility of guiding the younger ones and the beginners will try their best because they understand the honour of playing with more advanced students. These duets have been performed even by my 6 year old students at Christmas concerts. It’s easier to play pieces fmiliar in melody and rhythm ( rhyming lyrics ) and that’s why the fingers learn more effectively.
